She postponed needed surgery to sew Angela's wedding gown and other dresses for the wedding. She will be remembered for her smile that lit her whole face, and for her love of cardinals, that mate for life. Ella was preceded in death by her daughter, Patty; her husband, Floyd; her brothers and sisters, Bertha Gunning, Frank Ervin, Bessie Blair, Harvey Ervin, and Margaret Caudy; and survived by her sister, Arena Mae Larson. Having endured many surgeries during her life and a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease, Ella passed peacefully, trusting in her Lord, Jesus Christ. Her body was donated to the Boonshoft School of Medicine. Services will be held at Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church, 4417 Bigger Rd., Dayton, on Sat., Jan. 14, at 10:00 AM, the Rev.
