Maher, Elizabeth "Betty" Rochester: Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Predeceased by her husband, Richard and her sister, Mary Jane Berry. Survived by her sons, Alan of Phoenix and John Maher of Rochester; grandchildren, Alana Salisbury and David (Kimberly) Maher of AZ; great-grandchildren, Tanner, Chase Maher and Robert Salisbury; sisters-in-law, Kathy (Larry) Freitas and Susan Maher; nieces and nephews. Betty was a volunteer at the American Red Cross for 25 years and served on many committees at St. Cecilia's Church. Friends may call Sunday 2-5:30 at the John M. Hedges Funeral Home (Dreier-Giltner), 1717 Portland Avenue (north of Ridge Road East). Funeral Mass, will be celebrated Monday, 9:30 AM at St. Kateri at St. Cecilia's Church.
