In memory of
EDWARD J. "EDDIE" BUTOR Jr.
BUTOR EDWARD "EDDIE" J., Jr. Age 58, of McMurray, PA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after courageously battling the devastating effects of pancreatic cancer on Sunday, February 12, 2017. Born on January 16, 1959, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Edward and Sue Ann Butor. He was the loving, faithful, and devoted husband to Maureen (Muckle) Butor for 35 wonderful years, having met as teenagers in the band EZ Breeze. He was the proud and caring father of three amazing children, Renee (Jeremy), Rick (Alexandra), and Chris, and the thrilled "Paps" to his soon to be first grandchild, Selah. Ed's career spanned many roles in the Information Technology world from instructor to Vice President at various Pittsburgh establishments. He was a gifted musician, particularly in bass and finger-style guitar, and even more skilled fisherman, specifically surf fishing – partaking in the annual Martha's Vineyard Fishing Derby where he proudly won first place for his daily bluefish catch. He also served with his musical gifts on worship teams at various churches in the Pittsburgh area. He is also survived by his affectionate mother, Sue; and caring sisters, Carol (Gary) Brenckle, Kathy (Jeff) Raymond, and Karen (Jeff) Straka; and many precious nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Edward will be greatly missed and remembered by all those who his life has touched. A memorial service will be held at CREMATION AND FUNERAL CARE by Danielle Andy Belusko, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317 at 5 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2017.
