He was the best husband, dad, teacher, and mentor ever! Ed explored the heart and soul of humanity and profoundly touched the good in people with his presence and his stories. He is our love, our father, and our hero. Ed graduated from Northeast Catholic High School in Philadelphia. After serving as a corpsman in the U.S. Navy, Ed attended Duke University where he met his wife Linda. He later earned his teaching degree at Millersville University. He also advised the yearbook staff and served as the school's athletic trainer. He was heavily involved in The Pennsylvania State Education Association and served as the president of the Manheim Township Chapter. Following his retirement, he taught Psychology at Harrisburg Area Community College at the Lebanon Campus. As a member of the Lancaster branch of Torch Club International, Ed won the International Paxton award for his paper on genocide. Ed loved music and supported the arts.
