E. Jeannette (Hartman) Brightbill
E. Jeannette Brightbill, 93, of the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, formerly of Lebanon, died Friday, October 14, 2016 in the Village. She was the wife of Guy W. Brightbill who died in 2002. Born in Benton on April 4, 1923, she was the daughter of the late George and Mabel Fulmer Hartman. She was employed as a secretary at Grace Brethren Church, Myerstown. Jeannette was a graduate of Myerstown High School and Lebanon Business School. Surviving are three sons: Gary G., husband of Janet Brightbill, of Cross Lanes, W.Va., Jerry D., husband of Lisa Brightbill, of Red Lion, Brian I. husband of Sandra Brightbill, of Lititz; two daughters, Marietta A. Brightbill of Calif., Karen J. Brightbill of Adamstown; a brother, James, husband of Sally Hartman, of Roswell, N.M.; 12 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a son, Gilbert D. Brightbill; and a brother, William Hartman. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Church, 1051 Landis Valley Road, Lancaster. Interment will be held following the luncheon at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. A visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM and also on Friday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the Church.
