Dorothy J. Komoroski
Komoroski, Dorothy J. Dorothy J. Komoroski, age 91, formerly of Two Rivers, died Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc. Dorothy was born March 10, 1925, in Chilton, daughter of the late George and Mary (Rehraurer) Harlow. She was a graduate of East De Pere High School with the class of 1943. On May 21, 1946, she married Daniel Kouba . He preceded her in death. Dorothy married Ed Komoroski in January, 1980, and he preceded her in death. On March 8, 1988, Dorothy married George Phillip. He preceded her in death. Dorothy grew up in the Maple Grove area and moved to the Manitowoc/Two Rivers area in 1943. She was employed at Schwartz Mfg. in Two Rivers from 1965 until her retirement in 1987. She was a volunteer at Hamilton Home for many years. She also volunteered at the Washington House in Two Rivers, Two Rivers Community Hospital, and the Community Food Share Program. She is a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Two Rivers. Survivors include two sons: Gene Kouba, Two Rivers; Gary Kouba, Yakima, WA; two daughters: Sandra Kouba, Manitowoc; Shirley (Roger McDannold) Craven, Fort Wayne, IN; five grandchildren: Theresa (Tim) Frank, Denmark; Jon Reiser, Manitowoc; Heather (Mark) Behnke, Two Rivers; Tonya (Matt) Schuette, Manitowoc; Daniel Kouba, Yakima, WA; two great grandchildren: Kali Reiser, Tyler Frank; one sister: Helen Gibbs, Neenah; several step children and their families along with many other step great-grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2017at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Tom Reynebeau. Entombment will be at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, town of Kossuth, at a later date. The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family by visiting www.kleinandstangel.com .
