Koch, Dorothy M. Dorothy M. Koch, age 85, of 2321 43rd St. Two Rivers, died early Wednesday morning, Oct. 12, 2016 at Meadow View Assisted Living of Two Rivers, with her former daughter-in-law, Marcia, at her side. Dorothy was born in Two Rivers on Oct. 19, 1930 to the late Alois and Violet (Kornely) Hamernik. She attended St. Luke's Grade School and graduated from Washington High School, where she played first saxophone in the high school band, with the class of 1948. On Oct. 14, 1950, she married Roger Koch at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The couple enjoyed 65 years of marriage; had four boys which she loved very much, and who kept her very busy. Roger preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 2015. Dorothy retired from Paragon Electric after many years; she enjoyed life at their permanent cottage in the north woods; loved her dogs "Benji" and "Lady"; loved her family and friends; and always looked forward to watching the Lawrence Welk Show. Dorothy also enjoyed her visits to the Casino's; bowling with her mother on the VFW Post 1248 team; and playing dartball in the Cool City League. She is survived by three sons: Gary (Geri) Koch of Bancroft, Rich Koch of Manitowoc, and David (Jeannie) Koch of Dubuque, Iowa; her grandchildren: Heather Burns, Aaron Koch, Kimberly Zouski, Melissa Koch, Lisa VanderKelen, Chelsea Duszynski, Jordon Koch, Amanda and Matt Koch; her great grandchildren: Alex, Andy, Riley, Megan, Kaela, Aubrey, McCoy and Collin; and former daughter-in-law: Marcia LaRocque. She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Virginia (Ken Thompskin) Koch; brothers-in-law, Michael Koch and Bill Johnson; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her youngest son, Jeffrey Koch; and a sister-in-law, Judi Johnson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 17, 2016 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd. Two Rivers. Rev. Maurice Mmegbuadimma will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial, with entombment to follow in Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc. The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Monday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. There will be no Sunday evening visitation.
