Dorothy H. Burgett LAKEVILLE: Dorothy H. Burgett, 91, of Lakeville died Saturday evening, April 15, 2017 in McMullen Assisted Living Center, Loudonville after a short illness. Dorothy was born January 27, 1926 in Portage County and was the daughter of the late Leo and Louise (Cline) Bray. She was a 1944 graduate of Crestline High School and worked after school at the Shelby Depot during WWII. On June 28, 1947 Dorothy married Robert "Curly" Burgett in New Boston and he died April 23, 1981. She was a homemaker and lived in Lakeville most of her life. Dorothy was a member of the Lakeville United Methodist Church, the Lakeville Fire Dept. Auxiliary, and the Lakeville Booster Club. She spent many years working in the Lakeville ball field concession stand and enjoyed collecting owl figurines. Dorothy is survived by two sons: Robert (Elaine) Burgett and Ronnie (Debbie) Burgett, all of Lakeville; two daughters: Sandy (Donald) wigton of Lakeville and Linda (Kim) McCullough of Shreve; 12 grandchildren: Jeremy Burgett, Jeff Burgett, Heidi Alexander, Jarrod Wigton, Angela Sparr, Stephanie Hiller, Mike Taylor, Teresa Wengerd, Brandon Burgett, Brock Burgett, Dori Eggan, and Dustin Taylor; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Bray of Hilliard; and one sister, Carol (William) Kreiner of Loveland. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother, Robert Bray. Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning, April 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in LINDSEY FUNERAL HOME, LOUDONVILLE with Rev. Diane McCartney and Rev. Angel Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Nashville Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 5-8pm on Wednesday, April 19 in the funeral home.
