Doris Ann Goldner, 65, of Columbia City, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017 with her children by her side. Born Nov. 8, 1951 in Ypsilanti, Mich., she was the daughter of Eugene and Martha (McKinney) Mullins. She grew up in Ohio and Kentucky. In 1976 she moved to Columbia City, and for the next 33 years worked at United Technologies/ Essex. She also worked as a custodian with Northern Heights Elementary School. Doris was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Kendallville and loved to witness about God to others. Survivors include her children, Katrina Tendziegloski, of Warsaw, Melissa Tendziegloski, of Columbia City; John Goldner, of Pierceton, Misty Reynolds, of Columbia City, and Troy Goldner, of Columbia City; sisters, Deawanna Justice, of Melvin, Ky., and Debbie (Danny) Lawson, of Lexington, Ky.; brothers, Dan (Katie) Mullins, of Lexington, Ky., and David (Karen) Mullins, of Prestonsburg, Ky.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Donald Mullins. Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Boston officiating. Burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
