ALBANY - Donna Jean Webb, 85, of Albany, passed away Saturday morning, Apr. 15, 2017 at Hickory Creek Nursing Center, The Plains. Born Feb. 26, 1932 in Meigs County, she was the daughter of the late Alva and Martha Barber Holsinger. She attended Olive Orange High School and retired as head housekeeper at Voight Hall on the Ohio University campus. She attended Bates United Methodist Church and Graham's Chapel Church. She was a longtime resident of Lodi and Lee Townships. Donna is survived by her daughter, Laura Jordan of Albany; three grandsons - J.H. Robinson III of Peebles, Stace Robinson of Marietta and James Owen (Emi) Hawk of Albany; five great grandchildren - Tyler, Bryce, Halee, Olivia and Isaiah; a son-in-law, John H. Robinson, Jr. of Shade; two brothers - Alva Holsinger, Jr. of Tuppers Plains and Virgil (Geraldine) Holsinger of Reedsville; and a sister-in-law, Francis Holsinger. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Webb; a daughter, Myra Robinson; a grandson, Justin Robinson; a son-in-law, Clyde Jordan; three sisters - Fan Bigley, Emma Mae VanMeter and Virginia Carter; and six brothers - Win, Clifford, Clinton, Russ, Rodney and Cavis Holsinger. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens with Pastor Carrie Ator-James officiating. Burial will be in Athens Memory Gardens.
