Donald J. Reposh
Donald J. Reposh, 80, of Bear Creek Township, passed away Tuesday morning, Oct. 11, 2016, at Golden Living Center East Mountain, Plains Township. Born in Forest City, he was the son of the late John and Helen (Blisko) Reposh. Donald attended James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, and at the age of 17 enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving during the Korean conflict. Donald was employed by The Times Leader, Wilkes-Barre, as an engraver for 38 years until his retirement. He was a master woodcarver of fish and certified by Bass Pro Shop. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Donald was preceded in death by his son, Daniel J. Reposh, on Oct. 21, 2015; brother, Allen Reposh; and his sister, Norma Bechetti. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, the former Mary Grace McDonald; grandson, Galen Reposh, Pittston; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Shirley McDonald, Dallas; and Michael and Dian McDonald, Texas; nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains Township. Interment with military honors accorded by the U.S. Marine Corps will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Plains Township. Arrangements are by Corcoran Funeral Home Inc., 20 S.
