Donald Morris DAHINDA - Donald W. Morris, 83, of Dahinda, Illinois, died at 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at his home. Donald was born on November 28, 1933, in Princeton, Illinois, the son of Marvin and Marie (Washer) Morris. He attended and graduated from Bradford High School and studied agriculture in college for two years. Donald married Beulah M. Christiansen on August 13, 1955, in Neponset, Illinois. Donald worked as a farmer in Peoria, Toulon, Bradford and Dahinda area all of his life. He was also a member of the Dahinda United Methodist Church. Donald served in the United States Marine Corps from February 10, 1952 to February 9, 1955. He is survived by his wife, Beulah Morris of Dahinda, Illinois; his children, Karen M. (Tom) Dymit of Wheaton, Illinois, Kris L. (Danny) Key of Augusta, Georgia, Sandra J. (Dave) Cox of Phoenix, Arizona, Rita S. (Mark) Niebuhr of Williamsfield, Illinois, Steven M. (Tracie) Morris of Abingdon, Illinois, and Donna M. (Jeff) Gage of Tyler, Texas; seventeen grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and his brother, Gordon (Sue) Morris of Monett, Missouri. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the Dahinda United Methodist Church in Dahinda, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the Dahinda United Methodist Church in Dahinda, Illinois. The Rev. Jennifer Seder and the Rev. Jeff Gage will officiate. Burial will be in at the Evergreen Memory Gardens in Kewanee, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Dahinda United Methodist Church.
