Dominick F. DiPilli, 90 Water Department (DEP), retired after 33 years Dominick F. "Minnie" DiPilli passed away peacefully at his home in Concord, on Saturday, April 14, 2018. Born and raised in Staten Island, he lived in Egbertville and moved to Rosebank after marrying his wife, Anna Parlamenti. Mr. DiPilli worked 33 years for the Water Department (DEP) on Staten Island. He served two years in the Army in the Philippines from 1945 to 1947. He was a dedicated and loving family man, having always put his family first. He also had a love for gardening, sports, Atlantic City trips, and doing Lucky 7 scratch offs. He was a true Yankees fan, never having missed a game on TV. Mr. DiPilli was the son of the late Domenico and Anna, was a loving husband of 46 years to the late Anna, the beloved father of Dianne Buono and Frank, father-in-law to Joe Buono, brother to the late Frank (Sonny) and Josephine Brandefine, and leaving two granddaughters, DeAnna and Daniella Buono. A celebration of his life will be held at Colonial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Joseph's Church. Burial is at St. Mary's Cemetery.
