Dominga San Luis Lowther August 4, 1923 - February 12, 2017 The youngest of eight children born to Eufracia and Pablo San Luis in Manila, PI, Dominga married John Halcomb at the end of the war in the Philippines, had two children and arrived in San Francisco, CA in 1948. Subsequent marriages to Richard Reidel and Captain Robert Lowther ended with their deaths. She worked for the Department of Defense until her retirement in Mannheim, Germany in 1988. Dominga was an avid traveler and Giants fan and active in Holy Name Parish in the Sunset District. She is survived by her children, Claude Halcomb, Jr. and Jean Bishop; her grandchildren, Jessica San Luis, Amanda B. Richmond, and Caroline Bishop; her great grandchildren, Ana-Isabel Gonzalez, Alicia Gonzalez, and Asa Newman. Friends are invited to a Funeral Service on Friday, February 17, 11am with a Visitation at 10:30am at Crippen & Flynn Carlmont Chapel, 1111 Alameda de las Pulgas in Belmont.
