Dolores A. Perry
Dolores A. Perry, 86, of West Pittston, died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Exeter, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen Dixon Rinkus. She worked in the local garment industry, as well as the Wyoming Area cafeteria before her retirement. Dolores was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Corpus Christi Parish, West Pittston, for many years. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jackie Rinkus, and her sister, Marion Shandra. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Elwood Perry Sr.; sons, Elwood Jr., Dupont; and Edward and his wife, Monica, Falls; and daughters, Lori Winiewicz and her husband, Rich, Plains Township; Darlene Gavenonis, West Wyoming; and Donna Kaminski and her husband, Jay, Harveys Lake. Dolores is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday from Anthony Recupero Funeral Home, 406 Susquehanna Ave., West Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Corpus Christi Parish, Luzerne Avenue, West Pittston. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in West Pittston Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Center, Scranton.
