Dolores Mary Galvez Crouter (Acosta) Born May 11, 1933, Riverside, CA, died February 11, 2017, in Redlands, CA. Dolores (Lolita, Grandma Loli, Lollipop, Tia Lita) spent her early childhood in Los Angeles, then Colton, graduating from Colton High School in 1951. She lived in Colton and Grand Terrace until 1988, then Banning, CA for 25 years, and was an accomplished singer, dancer, hobbyist, living an active and spirited life. She shared her vibrant love and wit until closing her eyes at the end of her life. Dolores was preceded in death by parents Walter & Katy Galvez, husband Van A. Crouter, son Vincent Acosta, brother Joseph Galvez, and brother Philip Galvez & wife Nesu. Surviving are daughters, Carmel Acosta-Cooper & Flori Acosta of Grand Terrace; sons Phillip W. Acosta (Nancy) of San Luis Obispo & Gerald Acosta (Danean) of Piñon Hills; sister Carole Salazar Grisham (Paul); brother Louis Galvez (Judy); sister- in-law Linda Vogel (Dave); stepchildren Richard Crouter (Marge), Bill Crouter, Nola Lemmons; and grandchildren: Alexandra (Cory), Garrison, Aaron (Samantha), Andrew, Rachel, Angela, Matthew (Jacqualynn), Kalina (Brandon), Jacob, Felicia (Francisco), Kenny, Ryan (Roberta), Chris (Cindy), Garrett (Cindy), Sean (Rachel), Jenie (Greg), 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, many nieces, nephews, countless cousins & friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at Azure Hills Church, 22633 Barton Rd., Grand Terrace, CA, on Sunday, February 19 at 5 pm, followed by a reception in the church hall. Future internment at Montecito Memorial Park, Colton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent "In memory of Dolores Galvez Crouter" to Colton High School Choral Music Program, 777 W.
