Diane Danner, beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt, passed away peacefully in her home on January 6, 2017 in Colorado Springs, CO. She was born in Troy, Ohio, August 31, 1953 the second of four children born to the late Mary Lou and Alfred Krieger. Diane graduated from Fairmont West High School in 1971. She received an Associates Degree from Sinclair Community College and pursued a Bachelors degree in Marketing. Her outstanding marketing skills allowed her to be a successful account representative for Trans Union for both the Cincinnati and Rocky Mountain Divisions for over 17 years. She then became a successful Mortgage Loan Officer with Ent Credit Union in Colorado Springs for over 13 years. Diane was an outgoing person with a vibrant and joyful personality with a broad network of personal and professional relationships. Diane loved the outdoors and hiking was her favorite activity. She was an avid nature enthusiast and loved to travel, venturing all over the world as far north as Alaska, the British Isles, and as far south as Australia. Diane also enjoyed experiencing other cultures and researching geographic history as wells as mining. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Dan Danner and wife, Tan; her sisters, Regina Antill and Tina Finley; her brother, Larry Krieger; precious grandson, Sam Ford; niece, Ayla Antill; nephew, Josh Antill; as well as many cousins, Debbie Sears, Pattie Luebke and Mickey Jenkins and hosts of other loving friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 2:00pm followed by a reception at Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Sq. Dr., Colorado Springs, CO 80918.
