Diane Burke
SLC, UT-Diane Burke passed away peacefully April 15, 2017 at Spring Creek Healthcare Center in SLC. She was born in Tremonton, Utah, on June 20, 1934 and spent her youth in Honeyville, having been raised in the loving home of Maudell Seager and Tolman Burke. Diane left Utah at an early age to pursue a career. She worked in many states including Washington, DC, Alaska and Colorado. She eventually moved back to Salt Lake City to work and to be near family. She was a very strong, independent and spirited woman who loved her family. She was a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Diane is survived by her brother Reed (Barbara) Burke and a brother-in-law, Ferrell Peters, both of Brigham City. Also 7 nieces and nephews and their families. She is now enjoying an eternal reunion with her parents and sister, Gayle, who preceded her in death. A viewing will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 at Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 S.
