Born on June 7, 1964 at Cumberland, MD, she was a daughter of Sandra K. McBride of Keyser and the late Russell L. "Rusty" Harman. She also was preceded in death by her stepfather, Leon E. McBride; her grandmother, Edna (Whipp) Harman; father-in-law, Harold Brant and an aunt, Darlene C. Dawson. Denyce attended elementary school in Alameda, CA and primary school in Keyser. Denyce dearly loved her family and the loving partnership she had with Barry for the last 30 years. They were a team, always together and had a relationship that only death could separate. Before her illness took so much from her, she loved to crochet and making special things for her family. She loved the outdoors, hunting, listening to the sounds of nature and naming the birds by their songs and calls. She could prepare a meal like the best of them with nothing in the kitchen and loved to can and cook with Janet. She will be missed by so many people. She is without pain now and gone to a better place. You were so loved Denyce, and you will be missed. In addition to her mother, surviving are her fiancee, Barry Brant of Oakland, MD; her children, Amber Marie Brant & fiancee Dean Hoffman of Oakland, MD and Nicholas Russell Brant serving with the U.S. Navy; two grandchildren, Colton Leon Brant and Noah Nathaniel Hoffman; three sisters, Conni L.
