ZANOLINI, Dennis March 28, 1953 - October 11, 2016 On Tuesday, October 11, 2016, Dennis Keith Zanolini went home to Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. Dennis died in a skilled nursing facility in Sonoma due to complications of liver failure. He was 63 years of age. Dennis was born to Major Albert S. Zanolini (US Army) and Helen Zanolini on March 28, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio. Dennis was raised in Santa Rosa and Sonoma, California, attending Sonoma Valley High School. Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Helen Zanolini and older brother, Robert (Bob). He is survived by brothers, Steve Zanoini (wife, Claudia) of Franklin, Tennessee and Gary Zanolini (wife, Nancy) of Santa Rosa as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Dennis worked in the auto body and fender repair industry and in the field of carpentry. He briefly served in the United States Army. Dennis' passions included animals, especially wolves and falcons, and the Oakland Raiders. The family would like to give special thanks to Dennis' caregiver and second "mom," Alixe Daniel and her daughter, Mahara, for years of understanding and compassionate care. Further, the family would like to thank the Veterans Administration for the many Services they provided Dennis. The family also thanks and appreciates Hospice of Petaluma for their compassionate end of life care. Funeral Services for Dennis will be held at Santa Rosa Memorial Park, 1900 Franklin Ave., Santa Rosa in the Hillcrest Mausoleum on Friday, October 14th at 12 Noon.
