Dennis "Denny" Patrick Ryan, 32, of Butler passed away Sunday at his home. Born March 12, 1985, in Butler, he was the son of Dennis and Rita Ryan. Denny was a sincere and thoughtful man who had a huge heart, always willing to extend a helping hand to his family and friends. His smile was contagious and could lift the spirits of those around him with a simple flash. He was skilled and meticulous with any project he attempted and there wasn't anything he couldn't build, fix or create. He was passionate about food and was a tremendous cook, instinctively knowing how to fuse and perfect flavors. He was an avid sports fan and loved his hometown Pittsburgh teams, especially the Steelers and the Penguins. He loved nature and the outdoors and there was rarely a day you would see him without his favorite camouflage clothing. Above all, Denny was a devoted husband and father, who deeply loved and cared for his wife and three daughters. In addition to his parents, Dennis and Rita, he leaves behind so many who adored him and who will cherish his memory forever: his wife, Crystal Buckley Ryan; his daughters, Natalie, Zoey and Haylee; his grandmother, Eleanor Fallecker; his sister, Rachel Ryan Goodman; his sister, Julie Ryan and her partner, SaraBeth Swain; his nephews, Owen and Ian Goodman and Colson Atwell; his mother-in-law, Cynthia Sloan; his father-in-law, Terry Hilliard; his brother-in-law, Keith Buckley; his aunts, uncles and cousins from the extended Fallecker and Ryan families; and several friends who he admired so very much. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles F. Ryan and Dorothy Grace Young Ryan; his maternal grandfather, Regis L. Fallecker Sr.; and his great-grandmother, Irene M. Myers. RYAN - Friends of Dennis "Denny" Patrick Ryan, who died Sunday, March 12, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
