Manchester-It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Denise Eva Johnson, daughter of Robert and Frances (Therrien) Latulippe. She died on Oct. 12, 2016 after a brave and spirited battle with cancer.
She graduated from Manchester West High School and received her Bachelor in Nursing Degree through Walden University. She worked at various hospitals throughout the State, the last being Elliot Hospital as a Resource Nurse in an Intensive Psychiatric Unit. Denise was a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses' Association, as well as a member of the International Nurses' Society on Addiction. She was Board Certified both as a Psychiatric Nurse and Certified as an Addiction Registered Nurse. Denise was extremely passionate in her career and was proud to remain optimistic with all of her struggles. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends along with her loving partner, Butch Clark.
In addition to her loving parents, she leaves her two adorable sons, Andrew Johnson and his wife, April (Hadley) of Hooksett, and Eli Johnson and his partner, Kelli Lees of Manchester. Her siblings include her loving sister, Michele Spaziano and her husband, Dennis of Bedford, her niece, Sheila Atwater and husband, Mike of Arizona, along with their sons, Scott and Richie. She leaves several aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as dear friends.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 18 from 5-7:00 p.m. at the Durning, Bykowski and Young Funeral Home, 285 Manchester St., corner of Beech St., Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 10:00 a.m. at Ste. Marie Parish in Manchester. Urn burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bedford.
