Deborah Ann Trently of Magnolia passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at home. She was 49. Deborah was born November 4, 1966 in Tachikawa, Japan to the late LtC. Jerry Sparks and Lois Hilbrecht Sparks. She worked as a caseworker for the State of Delaware. Deborah enjoyed decorating her home, and was a birthday party expert, a ghost hunter adventurer, going to Gettysburg, PA and Branson, Mo., but especially spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Kevin Trently of Magnolia; daughter, Megan Mock of Lincoln; sons, SSgt. Patrick Trently currently serving with the United States Air Force and Matthew Trently who currently resides in CA; sisters, Susan Karcher of Severna Park, MD, Judy Motta of Easton, MD and Barbara Berlett of Lovettsville, VA; brother Robert Sparks of Severna Park, MD; grandchildren, Robbie O'Neill Mock and Madison Ann Mock. Visitations will be held 1-3 and 5-7PM, Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover.
