Deborah N. Nagle
PIQUA — Deborah N. Nagle, 68, of Piqua, died at 9:27 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017, at her residence. She was born Nov. 10, 1948, in Dayton, and was almost immediately adopted by the late and Forrest "Jack" and Mary Cruikshank. She married Joseph H. Nagle Jr. June 21, 1977, in Richmond, Ind., a marriage that would span almost 50 years, and he survives. Other survivors include five daughters, Mary Bolin of Colorado, Jenny Bryant, Gretchen Boeger, Emily Nagle, Rebecca Nagle, all of Piqua; a son, Gary Nagle of Grove City; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jeff Thompson, Tim Spiller, Alan Spiller. She was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Patsfield. Mrs. Nagle was a 1966 graduate of Piqua Central High School. She went on to work as the head cook at Piqua Manor Nursing Home. She loved working crossword puzzles, making her own collection of cookbooks, playing bingo and loved attending garage sales with her husband. She also made the best fudge ever. A private service to honor her life will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
