DEBORAH HENSLEY HATFIELD, Ky. — Deborah Kay Hensley - age 63 of Hatfield, Ky., passed away Tuesday; April 18, 2017 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Ky. Born June 14, 1953 in Williamson, W.Va.; she was the daughter of Emma Elkins Cantrell of Hatfield, KY and the late Herbert Cantrell. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hensley, and a brother, Larry Eugene Marcum. Debbie was a homemaker and a member of the Nolan Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her children, Steve (Wendi) Hensley of Hatfield, Ky., Kevin (Michelle) Hensley of Ransom, Ky., Heather Hensley of Hatfield, Ky. and Brian (Lisa) Hensley of Turkey Creek, Ky., 4 brothers, Bo Cantrell of Naugatuck, W.Va., Jr. Cantrell of Martin County, David Cantrell of Martin County, and Danny Cantrell of Naugatuck, W.Va., 4 sisters, Micki Crum of Turkey Creek, Ky., Jackie Combs of Galax, Va., Sheila Cantrell of Stone, Ky., and Tammy Hackney of Martin County, her grandchildren, Dalton Hensley, Derek Hensley, Cameron Hensley, Kaleb Hensley, MaKenzie Hensley, Keaton Hensley, and Aiden Andersen, a special niece, Deborah Smith, and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Friday; April 21, 2017 at noon at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, Ky. with Bro. Ray Taylor, Bro. Earl White, and Bro. Harrison Baisden officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Memory Gardens at Huddy, Ky. with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
