DOVER - David Clark Winter, 54, died Saturday, January 7, 2017, at his apartment in Dover, N.H. David was born in Lebanon, Tennessee, on April 13, 1962, to parents Alice Clark Winter and Raymond Winter. He is the eleventh of thirteen children. He grew up in Rollinsford, graduated from Somersworth High School in 1980 and lived most of his life locally. David's outgoing and gentle personality made him able to forge friendships easily. He enjoyed golf, playing cards and was a devout New England sports fan, spending many hours talking sports with his local buddies. Despite his long battle with mental illness, David worked as a general laborer and delivery driver. He was considered a careful driver and worked delivering supplies in New England as well as driving friends and family on daily errands. David is survived by siblings Paul Winter, Kenneth Winter, Elizabeth Chadwick, Katherine Houk, Janet Amioka, Douglas Winter, Christine Winter, Claire Campbell, Richard Winter, Laurie D'Agostino, Raemarie Harber and mother Alice Clark Winter. He was predeceased by his brother Dr. Mark Winter and father Raymond Winter. As his brother and father before him, David is already missed by his family who have stood by him during his hardships. He will be remembered always. David's family would like to thank the many people who live and work in the area who have befriended our brother. More than anything, David valued your friendship.
