David Webber Kingstree, SC - David Charlton Webber, 74, husband of Louise DuBose Webber, passed away peacefully in his sleep Tuesday morning, March 14, 2017, after an extended illness. Born in Kingstree, SC, on July 31, 1942, he was the son of the late Marie Munnerlyn and William Charlton Webber. David attended Kingstree High School, Class of 1960 and Clemson College. Over his career he was associated with D.S. Epps Company, Life of Georgia Insurance, the King's Tree Inn, and Jarrett's Specialty Company. He retired in 2014 from Webber's Lawn Service. Formerly, David was a member of the Shriners and the Kingstree Jaycees. He was a lifelong member of Williamsburg Presbyterian Church where he served faithfully as both a deacon and an elder. David is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, his sons David Webber, Jr. of Little River, SC, and William (Sara) Webber of Lexington, SC. He was lovingly called "DaDa" by his grandchildren, Austin, Brennan, Charlton and Dutch Webber, whom he adored. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Jimmy Montgomery, of Murrells Inlet, SC, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service celebrating David's life will be held at 2 PM, Friday, March 17, 2017, in Williamsburg Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the service in Grace Hall and at other times at their home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Williamsburg Presbyterian Church, 411 N.
