In memory of
David G. Gehen
Gehen, David G. On this day, October 11, 2016, David George Gehen went quietly from this earthly world to a more peaceful, happy place. Leaving behind many fond and tender memories of family and friends. David is predeceased by his brothers Calvin and Stephen Gehen. Leaving his wife, Patricia Gehen and their three amazing children, Shannon Gehen and husband Todd Miner, Matthew Gehen, Lauren and husband Chance Spoonhower as well as his three cherished grandchildren whom always brought his such joy and happiness, Chance, Dillon and Lakin Spoonhower. His loving animal companions Rustle and Spencer. We will miss his sharp wit, resilience, honesty, integrity and determination. His ability to fix or repair anything, especially electrical! His feisty political debates as well as the sparkle that came to his eyes for his grandchildren. He also loved golf, fishing and the outdoors and that will be shared and passed on to his children and grandchildren. Honoring Davids wishes, in leu of a funeral, a casual gathering of family and friends to share memories and celebrate his life will take place on Sunday, October 16th from 2 to 5pm at the Rt 38 Grill in Owego, NY. Please feel free to bring photographs or memorabilia to share. A donation fund will collected at the celebration to be given to the Colon Cancer Alliance and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central NY. ... Show More
