Stockton Darryl Lee Turner Sept. 13, 1965 - Oct. 2, 2016 Darryl Lee Turner, 51, passed away peacefully at home Sunday evening Oct. 2, 2016. He was born Sept. 13, 1965 at Dameron Hospital in Stockton. He was the middle child of Lee and Carole Turner. Darryl attended John Adams School in Stockton, Clements and Lockeford Schools and graduated from Tokay High School in Lodi, CA. where he met his best buds for life, Robert Ardelean, Brian Jordet and Victor Gianunzio. At Delta College he studied electronics and computers. Darryl had a natural talent for understanding how electrical and mechanical things work. He was a whiz at driving a forklift. He began loading lumber on trucks at the age of 16 at his dad's lumber yard - Stockton Wholesale Lumber - where he later became part owner and the companies Vice President. For the past 4 years he has worked for Heritage One in North Highlands, CA. Darryl enjoyed dove and deer hunting, trout fishing at Eagle Lake, deep sea fishing and fishing for marlin off the coast of Mexico. He was preceded in death by his father Lee Turner. He leaves behind his daughter Briaunna Turner of Nampa, Idaho and son David Turner of Stockton. Mother, Carole Turner, sister Nancy Turner, brother Michael Turner and nephew Kristopher Turner all of Stockton. A memorial luncheon will be held Thursday Oct. 20, at 12 noon in the Quail Lakes Clubhouse on Quail Lakes Dr., at Round Valley Circle, Stockton, CA. The family would like to invite Darryl's friends and business associates to join them in this celebration of his life.
