Daniel A. DiTunno
Daniel was born on December 3, 1927 and passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017.
Daniel was a resident of Connecticut at the time of passing.
He was a graduate of Bulkeley High School, class of 1946.
He served in the U.S. Army in WWII overseas and was called back to active duty in the Korean War as a training NCO.
He was responsible for testing of concrete at the Hartford Public Highway, oversaw all sidewalk construction in the city and for many years was responsible for the snow removal. Funeral services will begin Thursday (April 20) at 9 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect St., Wethersfield. Burial with military honors will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
