Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Dunphy Nagele was born in Malden, Mass. on Dec. 18, 1955, to William and Catherine Dunphy. Cindy lost her courageous battle with brain cancer Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017, and was finally able to cross over to her Rainbow Bridge. Cindy leaves behind her children, daughters, Ashley Nagele and fiancé, Chris Jennison of Florida, Courtney Hondras of Masschussetts, Tina Hondras of Massachusetts and son, Andrew Hondras of Massachusetts. Also, her brothers, William Dunphy of Pennsylvania and Ronald Dunphy of Florida; and lifelong friend, Suzanne Wasserman, along with all of her Live and Let Live Farm rescue family. Cindy has always been a lover of all animals and gardening and she flourished finding great peace within her life once she discovered volunteering at Live and Let Live Farm's Rescue, helping animals in rehabilitation. Cindy loved to take and sleep with the last puppy or kitten of a litter that had yet to be adopted. She also loved to watch and feed the wild birds, as well as plant gardens wherever she could find an available spot at the rescue farm. During her last days, Cindy expressed how much she wanted to thank everyone who had touched her life in any way, as these encounters led her down the path to the peace she had found within. Cindy's celebration of life and loving memories will take place on Thursday, Jan. 19, from noon to 2 p.m. at Live and Let Live Farm Rescue in Chichester. In May 2017, there will be a tree of life and love planting as well at the Live and Let Live Farm Rescue in Cindy's honor. In lieu of flowers, Cindy requested donations to be made to her beloved animals at Live and Let Live Farm, 20 Paradise Lane, Chichester NH, 03258 or through the website at liveandletlivefarm.org.
