CURTIS J. (JACK) POULTON
DELAWARE — Curtis J. (Jack) Poulton, 82, of Delaware, was called home by the Lord on Monday, Jan. 9, 2017 at the Arbors of Delaware. He was born on Jan. 17, 1934 in Newark, Ohio to the late Curtis H. and Pearle F. Poulton. Jack retired from PPG Ind., Delaware after 30 years as production supervisor where he earned his nickname of 'Bear' or on a good day, 'Sugar Bear.' His many hobbies and interests included building his family home, woodworking, hunting, motorcycles, old cars, and not only flying but building his own airplane. His favorite pastime was hanging out with his dear friend Howard Kraus of Delaware. He was a long time member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and attended Old Stone Presbyterian Church in recent years. Jack will lovingly be remembered not only by his family and friends, but the many lives he touched. Jack is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marie R. Poulton (Kern); son, Curtis Poulton Jr. of Delaware; daughter, Vickie (Michael) High of Cardington; grandchildren, Amber (Joshua) Fetter of Cardington, Christopher Poulton of Delaware; and great-granddaughter, Hadlee Rose Fetter. He will also be sadly missed by his brothers, Ron (Janet) Poulton of Delaware, Curtis (Ruthanne) Poulton of Boardman; sister, Sharon (Dave) Butler of Delaware; and his nieces and nephews. Robinson Funeral Home is in care of arrangements. A celebration of Curtis' (Jack's) life will be held on Thursday, Jan. 12 at 4 p.m. at Old Stone Presbyterian Church, 41 Hodges Road, Delaware, Ohio, with Pastor Don Hilkerbaumer officiating.
