Corinne Scharff
Scharff, Corinne Age 80, of Necedah, WI, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, WI on Friday, October 14, 2016. She was born Ann Marie Corinne on July 21, 1936 in Minneapolis, MN to the late Armand and Aline (nee Bouthillette) Boisclair. She graduated from St. Margaret's Academy in 1954. She was united in marriage to Gerald Scharff at St. Anne Catholic Church in Minneapolis, MN on October 6, 1956. Corinne and Gerald resided in the Minneapolis area until 1974, when they moved to Necedah. Corinne enjoyed participating in community and church activities. She served thirty years as chief election poll worker for the Township of Necedah. She was a member of Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, where she was active in the choir, Parish Council of Catholic Women, and Rosary Guild. She also worked part-time at McNally Spinal Care in Tomah, WI. Affectionately known as "office Mom", she retired in January 2016 after fifteen years. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but has left them with the knowledge that her steadfast faith in God has brought her to a better place. Corinne is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Gerald of Necedah; five children: Thomas (Sharon) of Wisconsin Rapids; Mary Ellen of Wisconsin Rapids; Michelle (Jeffrey) Byrne of Verona, WI; John of Clinton, IL; and Therese (Matthew) McNally of Necedah; 13 grandchildren: Christopher (Rebecca), Michael (Kari), Scott, and Eric; Samantha (Zack) Koons, Steven (Caitlin), Patrick (Michelle); Sean, Mikayla, Andrew, Angelina, Myah, and Olivia McNally; 4 great-grandchildren: Ethan, Kate, Emily, and Elizabeth Scharff; and another expected in December. She is also survived by brothers: Richard (Joanne) Boisclair of Buffalo, MN; Lawrence Boisclair of Alexandria, MN; sisters: Dolores (Bill) Watson of Leesburg, VA; Mary Lou (Richard) Smith of Bettendorf, IA; sister-in-law: Lori Boisclair of Wayzata, MN; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Joseph Boisclair and Robert Boisclair. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Necedah, with visitation from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery. The Torkelson Funeral Home of Necedah will be assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences are available at
