January 16, 1918 - October 13, 2016 Corine May Bland Latimer, 98, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2016. She was born on January 16, 1918 in Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. She was attending Beauty School in Austin, Texas where she met her beloved husband of 76 years, Charles "Bob" Latimer. She retired from Alamo National Bank, where she enjoyed working in the Safe Deposit Department and made many lifelong friends. After retirement, Corine enjoyed traveling, hunting and fishing with her husband. Corine loved spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She welcomed many nieces and nephews into her home. Corine and Bob cherished family and their many friendships. Her family will fondly remember Corine and Bob on the dance the dance floor, dancing to "San Antonio Rose". Corine was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Lorenzo Bland and "Hattie" Beverly Bland; her sister Catherine Price and her brothers, Arthur and Joseph Bland; and her loving husband, Charles Robert Latimer. She is survived by her two daughters, Judith Stahl and her husband Roy of San Antonio, TX, Charlotte Hays and her husband David of Sunrise Beach, TX; six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. A 12:00 p.m. Chapel Service will be celebrated at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 with a reception to follow at the funeral home. Corine will be laid to rest with her loving husband, Charles in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
