Clyde N. Albright
Clyde Nelson Albright, age 93, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown. Born September 18, 1923 in Hogestown, he was the son of the late Raymond E. and Annie Grace (Eppley) Albright. Clyde had served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and received a WWII Victory Ribbon. He also served in the PA National Guard. A proud Mason, he was a member of the St. John's Lodge No. 260 in Carlisle and the Scottish Rite Temple in Harrisburg. He was also a member of the Zembo Temple, the Tall Cedars, Trindle Spring Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg, had served as past president of the Mechanicsburg Chapter of AARP, and was a lifetime member of Citizens Fire Company. Clyde was preceded in death by his wife, Louise A. (Swigert) Albright, his son-in-law, Robert L. Rotzinger; and his sisters, Mildred Romberger and Martha Lyons. Surviving are his children, Kathleen A. Gross and husband, Dr. Richard J. of Owings Mills, MD, Beverly A. Rotzinger of Millerstown, Janice C. Albright and husband Stephen L. Gotwols of East Berlin, and Karl N. Albright and wife Tina of Carlisle; as well as his 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 16 at Trindle Spring Lutheran Church, 14 State Road, Mechanicsburg, where there will be a visitation from 10:30 to 11:00 AM. A private Masonic Service for the immediate family will be held prior to the visitation. Burial will take place in Trindle Spring Cemetery.
