Memorial services for Clinton Anthony Saulsbury, 53, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Henderson Chapel of Lufkin First United Methodist Church with Brother Harold Sloan and Reverend Laura Campbell officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home. Mr. Saulsbury was born March 8, 1964 in Dallas, Texas to Kay (Squyres) and the late James Elmer Saulsbury, and died Thursday, April 13, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Saulsbury served in the United States Army 101st Airborne Division and was an electrician for PID. He was an artist and enjoyed painting and making mozaics. He also enjoyed carpentry and had a green thumb. Mr. Saulsbury was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include his son, Carter Saulsbury of Tyler; daughters, Nikki Saulsbury of Zavalla and Samantha Saulsbury of Lufkin; mother, Kay Squyres Moss of Lufkin; sisters, Lisa Saulsbury Raines and husband Kevin of Rosenberg, and Ellen Saulsbury Wood and husband Paul of Lufkin; stepbrothers, Steve Moss and wife Cynthia of Flourence, and David Moss and wife Cory of Buda; nieces, Cara Raines Becerra, Taylar Raines Zoch, Jenna Raines, Krystine Moss, and Lola Becerra; nephews, Hunter Wood, Jacob Wood, Brian Moss, and Cory Becerra; and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W. Frank Avenue, Lufkin, Texas 75904.
