Clarence D. Wallin CHILLICOTHE: Clarence D. Wallin, 80, of Chillicothe, died 7:23 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born July 29, 1936, in Morgan County, Kentucky to the late Harvey T. and Clinia M. Cox Wallin. On October 5, 1956, he married the former Mary K. Oliver who survives. Also surviving are children, Tammy (H. David) Chapman, Kathy (Stacey) Hopkins and Ed (Carolyn) Wallin, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Jerry (Megan) Hopkins, Frankfort, and Kyle Hopkins, Chillicothe; three brothers, Logan (Maxine) Wallin, Dillon, S.C., Fred (Sharon) Wallin, Wellston, OH, and Leck (Patty) Wallin, Garrison, KY; two sisters, Fern (Bill) Rice, Sandy Hook, KY and Myrtle (Bob) Adkins, Coalton, OH; many nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Zelda Waites, Chillicothe. He was predeceased by a grandson, Joshua Chapman; a brother, Harold "Chub" Wallin and an infant sister. Clarence retired from the Mead Corp. after 30 years and was a member of U.P.I.U. Local 731 and the First Church of the Nazarene. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2017 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with nephew Rev. Randy Wagoner and Pastor Jason Everidge officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. (today) Thursday at the Ware Funeral Home.
