Clarence P. LASALANDRA
LASALANDRA Clarence P., age 92, of Montville, on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. Born and raised in Boonton, he later moved to Paterson. Clarence lived Hawthorne for 39 years, later moving to West Milford. Clarence proudly served the United States Army Air Corps during WWII and the Air Force during Korean War. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony's R.C. Church and dedicated volunteer at St. Anthony's School. He worked as a plant engineer for West Wood Lighting, and was a member of the IBEW Local 164, in Paramus. He enjoyed cooking, and canning food and bake his famous cheese cake for the nuns. Clarence P. Lasalandra was the beloved husband to the late Dolores Lasalandra (nee Arnedo) (1998). Adoring father to Paula Lasalandra of Pompton Lakes, Mark Lasa-landra and wife Aileen of Wyckoff. Loving grand-father of Renee Lasalandra. Brother to Josephine Lasalandra, Car-mela Lasalandra, John Lasa-landra, and Anthony Lasa-landra. Pre-deceased by his sister Dolores Leone, and brothers Walter, Angelo, and Michael. Survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral will be departing at 9:00 am on Monday, October 17, 2016 from the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne for a 9:30 am Funeral Mass at St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Hawthorne. Entombment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Montville Animal Shelter.
