Claire Ann Mastroianni
Mastroianni, Claire Ann Claire Ann Trabakino Mastroianni (Dolly) passed away on October 15, 2016. She was born in Hartsdale, NY to Salvatore and Susan Trabakino. She grew up in White Plains, NY and attended White Plains Schools. Claire married Fred J Mastroianni JR in 1948. They had 3 children. They moved to Purchase NY in 1966. Claire was an amazing athlete, a great dancer, she had a wonderful fashion sense Claire modeled in her early years, she went on to become a travel agent for over 25 years and traveled the world. In her later years she worked for Channel, she was an amazing cook and she absolutely loved dogs! Claire was one of the founders of the Post Debs, a Bowling league in Post Bowling in White Plains. She was one of the founders of Our Lady of Sorrows CYO in 1964; and, she was one of the founders of the OLS Seniors, also. She was the president of the OLS Seniors for years until she retired from that position. . .But her most precious time was spent with her grandsons Matthew and James. They brought her great joy. Claire was a remarkable woman who took no nonsense, and, who gave everything of herself to anyone who was in need. Holidays were her favorite time of year because she was surrounded by her entire family. Christmas was THE day of the year for her. Claire was predeceased by her husband, Fred, of 59 years; her parents, Salvatore and Susan; her brothers, Ralph Trab, John and Salvatore Trabakino; and, her sisters, Grace Belfonte, Joan Rocco, Phyllis Arace, Gloria Duran; and, her grandson, Matthew G. Di Biasi. Survivors are her sister, Lucy Robertson: her children, Claire Denise Di Biasi (Guido), Doreen Ann Mastroianni and Fred J. Mastroianni, III: and, a grandson, James Connor Mastroianni. Claire had twenty three nieces and nephews, and, twenty five great nieces and nephews. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral mass is Wednesday at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. The interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
