CHRISTINE HACKETT- MORREALE
Christine Hackett-Morreale, 68 A true blessing, known for her positive outlook Christine Hackett-Morreale (nee Norwick), 68, passed away at her Arrochar home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, after a courageous five year battle with breast cancer. Known as "Tina" to her friends and family, she was born in the Bronx and moved to Rosebank and Dongan Hills before settling in Arrochar last year. After graduating high school, Tina attended Drake Business School and became a legal secretary for several law firms throughout New York City. Tina married Salvatore Morreale in 2012, and together they sang in the St. Ann's Church choir, where they are both longtime parishioners. Tina enjoyed traveling to Aruba every year with her husband. During their stay, she encouraged Sal to sing and entertain their friends and fellow vacationers at the resort, creating beautiful memories of the special times they shared together. Tina was an excellent cook, delighting everyone with her Sunday sauce and other Italian specialties. She loved shopping and took pride in her home's garden. "Her positive outlook inspired all that knew her," said her family. "She was a fun-loving yet gentle and caring woman. The sweet sound of her voice perfectly matched her sweet and kind disposition." Tina was an exceptional caregiver to her family and friends. Whether it was her time and advice or her cooking and generosity, Tina was a true blessing to have in your life. She will be truly missed. Tina was the beloved wife of Salvatore Morreale; loving mother of Christine Hackett, Matthew Hackett and his wife, Rebecca and James Trouccolo; cherished grandmother of Logan Levinstim, Olivia Hackett, Jessica and Christopher Trouccolo; dear sister of Lynne Snyder, Elizabeth Saslona, Richard, Jeffrey, and Albert Norwick, and the late Robert Norwick. She is also survived by her dear nieces and nephews, as well as her dearest friends, Charlene Ferri and Nancy Giandana. A.
