Cheryl Williams
Williams, Cheryl Ann. Cheryl Ann Williams, a lifelong Stamford resident, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on October 12, 2016. Cheryl was born in Stamford to Beulah and Fred St. Arnault on November 22, 1946. She then graduated Stamford High in 1964 and married Wayne WIlliams (who she affectionately called "Butch") shortly thereafter on May 15, 1965. Cheryl is survived by Wayne Williams, her loving husband of 51 years, her two sons: David Williams and his wife Margaret Halpin of Norwalk, and Steve Williams and his wife Liz of Orange County, CA. Cheryl received the most joy from spending time with her 6 beautiful grandchildren: Riley, Ryan, and Reagan of Norwalk, and Pace, Brendan and Kate of California. Cheryl is also survived by her identical twin sister Carol and her husband Tony Verrastro. She is also survived by her Sister-in-laws Janet Altomaro and Linda Fleischer and numerous nieces and nephews. Cheryl worked at various banks in Stamford for over 20 years. She was loved by her customers on Cove Road and Hope Street, where she ultimately retired from Bank of America. Cheryl was also a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses where she was a very active member up until the time of her passing. Cheryl loved to travel and was an avid photographer.
