Charlotte Jane Dull (nee: Holcomb), 80 years of age, and a resident of Grafton, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016, at her home following a lengthy illness. Charlotte was born July 22, 1936, in Elyria and raised in Elyria and Henrietta Township before moving to Grafton in 1958. Charlotte was a cheerleader in her school days and kept up that spirit in her love and dedication to her husband and family as a wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed baking and going on camping trips, crafts, crocheting and bowling. She retired as cashier from Sparkle Market in Grafton after 20 years. She also had worked as type setter in the graphic arts department for Bendix Corp. in Elyria prior to starting her family. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons Kenneth and Kelly Dull of Grafton; Eric and Michelle Dull also of Grafton; and her daughter Tamara and Merle Cockayne of Elyria; her grandchildren Kyle, Jordan, Caleb, Amber, Jason, Rachel, Stephane, and Evan; her great grandchildren Damien, Arriana, Emily, Faith, Emmanuel, and Carmelo; as well as her sister Joyce Daily of LaGrange. Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-five years Richard Allen Dull in 2013; her brother Myrle Holcomb; her sister Phyllis Buchs; and her parents Kenneth and Ollie Holcomb (nee: Dean). Friends may call Thursday, October 20, 2016, from 4-7 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a..m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp., Ohio. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to New Life Hospice, 3500 Kolbe Rd., Lorain, Ohio 44053.
