A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2017 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1855 W. Harrison Blvd., Valparaiso IN. Rev. Joseph Pawlowski officiating. Interment, St. Paul Cemetery, Valparaiso IN. Chuck, age 89, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 at his home in Valparaiso, IN. Born on January 9, 1928 in Valparaiso, IN to the late Leo and Sophie (nee Blastick) Polarek. He was a life-long resident of Valparaiso, partner in Casbon Electric Co., former retired realtor with Century 21 Executive Group, member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #738, American Legion Post #94, Moose Lodge, US Veteran of the Korean War from 1954 to 1956, and attended Valparaiso High School. Survived by wife, Faye Daniely-Polarek of Valparaiso, IN; children: Charles E. (Megan) Polarek of Michigan City, IN, Dwayne (Maria) Polarek of Lake Station, IN, Deborah Ann (Darrel) Heflin of Chesterton, IN, Diane Marie (Larry) White of Valparaiso, IN; step-daughters: Jane (Larry) Kubal of Valparaiso, IN, Judith Ann (Gary) Worland of Indianapolis, IN, Johnna (Gregg) Gholston of Valparaiso, IN; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-children; brother, James (Nancy) Polarek of Valparaiso, IN.
