Col. Charles H. "Chuck" MILIAN Jr.
MILIAN, Col. Charles H. Jr., USAF (Ret.) "Chuck" 87, passed away on October 2, 2016. He is survived by his sisters, Colleen Milian Singletary of Tampa, Heraldine Milian Sieber of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Beakie Milian Powell of Tuscaloosa. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews who affectionately called him "Brother". Chuck was a native of Tampa. Graduating from Plant High School in 1947, he went on to graduate from the University of Florida before joining the Air Force. Chuck proudly served our country for over 20 years, achieving the rank of Colonel before his retirement. In retirement he became a beloved middle school Algebra teacher in Hillsborough County, spending most of his years at Adams Middle School. He was a truly dedicated teacher in and out of the classroom, teaching his students as much about life as Algebra. The world has lost an incredible man, who was never afraid to laugh, cry, or live boldly. We will miss you greatly, Brother. Chuck was laid to rest with military honors at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL on October 7.
