Charles J. Hagan
Charles J. Hagan, 87, 0f Lopatcong Township, N.J., passed away on October 18, 2016 at St. Luke's Warren Campus. Born March 22, 1929, in Cassandra, PA, he was the son of the late Clyde Hagan and Mary Novetny Hagan. Mr. Hagan was employed at the Fremer Felt Factory, which was in Easton, PA. He was an exempt fireman and lifetime member of the Reliance Hose Fire Company in Phillipsburg. Charles was an avid fisherman, quoit thrower, bingo player and Washington Redskins fan. Surviving are his wife, Dolores R. Ehrie Hagan, with whom he celebrated 68 years married on this past June 26, Children; Barry W. Hagan and wife Nancy, of Phillipsburg and Donna M. Kreidler and husband William, of Harmony Township. Grandchildren are Brad Calligari and wife Staci, Kyle Hagan, and Ashley Hagan and her fiance William, as well as 5 great grandchildren. Mr. Hagan is also survived by a brother Kenneth Hagan and his wife Dorothy, of Harmony Township as well as a sister, Mary Jane Hoadley, of Bath, PA. In addition to his parents Mr. Hagan was also predeceased by brothers and sisters; Robert Hagan, Pauline Werkheiser, William Hagan, and Dolores Taylor. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg, N.J. There will be calling hours on Friday from 6-8 pm. The interment will be at the Montana Cemetery in Harmony Township, N.J. Fineganfh.com .
