In memory of
Charles T. Gill Jr.
May 23, 1969 - October 8, 2016 Charles T. Gill, Jr., age 47, went home to be with the Lord on October 8, 2016. Chuck was born in Fairfax, Virginia on May 23, 1969. He graduated from Clemens High School (Sugarland, TX), where he excelled in both athletics and academics. Chuck settled his family in San Antonio, TX in 1997 after living several years in Galveston, TX. He is survived by his adult children Charles "Chaz" Gill, Kayla Gill (both San Antonio, TX) Ashlyn Gill (Waco, TX), their mother, Leigh Ann Gill (Texas City, TX), his mother Wanda Gill (Bristol, VA), father Charles T. Gill, Sr,(The Villages, FL), and sister Vikki Hardoby (Bristol, VA). Chuck was a beloved and entrusted financial advisor of 17 years, many of which he spent working alongside his best friend Stuart Waldenmaier. Chuck made having a close relationship with his clients the utmost priority in his life, and took great pride in his work. Chuck loved to listen to country music and play the guitar. He enjoyed doing much of anything that involved being with the people he loved. But above all else, his truest passion was golf. Golf was more than just a hobby; golf was his favorite and most valued past time. His personality was so vibrant and magnetic it was hard not to be drawn to him. To say that he touched the lives of those he met is an understatement. His joyful smile, wit, and ability to make people feel loved were simply beautiful to witness. He touched the lives of so many, and his legacy will continue to do so eternally. His generosity was admirable, his integrity strong, and his mind brilliant. There is truly none other like him, and his memory will be cherished dearly. Chuck was very excited about the upcoming birth of his first grandchild. Emery Annette Tavitas was born on 10/13/2016. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Club at Sonterra on October 22, 2016 from 3:00-5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Chuck Gill Memorial Education Fund would be appreciated. Proceeds will be used to help with his future generation's educational needs. Chuck Gill Memorial Education Fund 14400 Northbrook Drive, Suite 240 San Antonio, TX 78232 ... Show More
