Charles was born on January 17, 1940 and passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. Charles was a resident of Iowa at the time of passing. He graduated from Nora Springs High School in Nora Spring, Iowa. Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday (April 21, 2017) at Hogan-Bremer-Moore colonial Chapel, 126 3rd Street NE, Mason City, with Reverend Kenneth Gehling officiating. Burial will be held in Bohemian Cemetery, Plymouth, with military honors conducted by the Clear Lake VFW Post 4868. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday (April 20, 2017) at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd Street NE, Mason City. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America; he achieved Life Scout, also the Order of the Arrow (distinguished camping association of Boy Scouts of America) achieved Vigil member, American Legion;4H Young Shooters, Member of VFW Post #136, Mulvane, Kansas.
