In memory of
Charalambos "Bobby" Antonelos
Charalambos "Bobby" Antonelos Charalambos "Bobby" Antonelos was born in Lixoudi, Cephalonia, Greece on September 30, 1955. He was born one year after the devastating earthquake in Cephalonia leveled most of that part of the island. His family was quite modest. His father, Dimitri and his mother Hera had three children, Gerassimos, Anoula and "Bobby". At a young age of 14 like most Cephlonites he went to sea as a ship's steward. In January 1978 he met the love of his life, his wife, Vasiliki (Evangelatos) Antonelos. Bobby started Bob's Hamburgers in Harbor City on Normandie Blvd, May 1, 1985. He was the owner along with his partner Hugo Ordaz until recently when he decided to sell his part of the business and retire. Bobby had a great heart and was loved by the entire Harbor City community. He is survived by his wife Vasiliki, brother Gerry, sister in law Maggie and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday October 20, 2016 at McNerney's Mortuary from 1pm – 8pm.
