In memory of
Carroll D. Markley, age 83, passed away on October 11, 2016, at Manor Care, Laureldale, with his son by his side. He was the loving husband of the late Maureen A. (Berkheimer) Markley, who passed away in 2002. Carroll was born in York County on June 13, 1933. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Standard Register in York for over 35 years prior to retiring. He loved the Philadelphia Eagles and the Flyers and also 50s music. He was a well-known antique dealer for over 50 years specializing in carnival glass. Carroll is survived by his son, Darrell Markley, and his wife, Kelly, of Fleetwood, Pa.; 1 brother; 1 sister; and 1 nephew. He will be sadly missed by his favorite dog, Beau. Services and interment are being held privately by the family under the direction of Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove.
