Carol Ann Mosley (Allman) 1942 ~ 2017 Carol Ann Mosley (Allman) was born on December 30, 1942, in Ontario, Oregon to Ernest and Bernice Allman. At a very young age Carol and her family moved to the Boise area and this is where she grew up. Carol graduated from Borah High School in 1961. Shortly after graduation, Carol married James Daryel Mosley and they moved to Beaufort North Carolina where Daryel was stationed in the Navy. While in Beaufort she gave birth to their first child Jim. In 1963 they moved back to Rupert, Idaho. Carol opened a very successful dance studio and also founded the Treasure Valley Dance Teachers Association. She was a very well respected dance teacher in the community and she loved her students dearly. While living in Rupert her second child Shannon was born. In 1973 Carol and Daryel moved back to Boise which they made their home until the time of their passing's. Carol gave birth to her final child John and they rounded out their wonderful family. Shortly after John was born, she and Daryel bought the house that her dad built and she grew up in. Carol had a green thumb and always had a beautiful yard. She took deep pride in her home and loved being able to live in her family home. She went to work as an interior designer and founded Cottage Boutique Interiors. She owed this business for many years until her retirement. Carol had a huge heart and was always taking care of others. She cared for her husband Daryel whom was very ill for several years, her mother-in-law Lois, who had Alzheimer's, and finally her own mother who is still with us at the incredible age of 102. Carol's greatest joy was her grandchildren. She would never turn down an opportunity to watch them and talk about them to others. She was very proud of Robyn, Ashlynn, Faith, Wyatt, Benjamin, and Ayla. Our family would like to thank all the caregivers who spent countless hours lovingly caring for both Carol and her mother. We would also like to thank Dr. Arcita and the team of nurses at MSTI who were wonderful to mom. At the end without the special care of St. Luke's Hospice team our family would have been lost. Thank you all so very much. Carol was proceeded in death by her husband Daryel, her father Ernest, and a brother and grandchild who both passed away at birth. She is survived by her mother Bernice, three children and their families; Jim & Deb Mosley (Ayla Robinson), Shannon & Ben Tolman (Robyn & James Wilson, Ashlynn Winget, Benjamin Tolman), John & Lisa Mosley (Faith and Wyatt), her sister Jane Valentine, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
